Why not celebrate Halloween by creating pregnancy art with your body? This is a wonderful time of year to be sporting a bubble in the middle, so make the most of it. Basically you need a shirt that is cut out over the belly – you can even get a plain T-shirt and dye it to match whatever theme you are going for. Especially fun is if you can get your partner to dress up with you! Some ideas that are cute and that accentuate your roundness:
- Him: Bacon You: Egg
- Him: Baker You: Oven
Or if you want to go with a solo act try these:
- Belly Paint. Try just painting your belly as a basketball, bowling ball, soccer ball, volley ball – or anything that is generally round like a watermelon – or globe or eyeball.
- Bun in the oven. Get a large cardboard box and paint it up to look like an oven. Cut a hole for your head – and make sure to cut the door where your belly is, so that when the oven door is open your belly will be in view. Paint the words “Bun in the oven” on the outside. You could also paint a “bun” on your belly.
- Pea. Wear all green. Paint your belly green.
- Pumpkin. Dress in all orange. Be sure to paint your belly as a pumpkin.
Put your thinking cap on and come up with some other ingenious costumes to wear to show off the “artwork” of your belly.
