It was April 12 (My due date) and by this time I was told if I didn’t go into labor by Saturday I would be induced. So you guessed it nothing happen and on Saturday April 17 I was in the hospital getting ready to have my son? At first when I got checked into the hospital every thing was going good. I was with my hubby and cousin and my mom and dad were coming later plus my other family members. So by 10am I was told that they were going to start the inducing process! By 12pm thats when I really started to feel the pain.. boy did it hurt. I was so upset. I quess because of all the stories that I’ve read and seen on TV they make you feel like you just go in labor, get drugs and push and it’s all over. Not for me. I was in labor for 36 hours and I felt every pain. Even after I got my epidoral, which by the way was the best and I recommend it to all first time mother’s. Anyway after 36 long hours I finally was told I was ready to push which to me was not the easy part and since the epidural ran out I felt every push and by the tenth push he just wouldn’t come out. So the doctor had to cut me a lil (which didn’t hurt) and get the vac because my son was facing up instead down. I didn’t find out to the end his cord was around his neck twice. After all the pain at 2:08pm which by the way is my b-day my lovely baby boy Seyon was born 6lbs 10.8oz and 21 inches. I thnk the best part was when they places him on my belly and even though it was hard and it was a lot of crying and praying it was all worth it in the end.
